This document describes the CMS XCache service(s) installed.#

Xcache Service#

• Xcache Servers: cmsxcache[01-05].hep.wisc.edu#

• Xcache Service: Running as a docker container (by user vassal)#

• Need certs on all xcache servers and the cert(s) need to be registered with CMS VO for the servers to be able to talk to FNAL redir via AAA and download files to cache locally (Servers certs are valid for 1 year and need to be renewed before expiry)#

• Log: /var/log/xrootd/cms-xcache/xrootd.log, /var/log/xrootd/cms-xcache/cmsd.log#

• Xrootd Config:/etc/xrootd/config.d/ (puppet:/etc/puppet/code/environments/production/modules/xcache/)#
