This CMS workshop will study:

* The challenges of calorimeter triggers at SLHC luminosity.
* Simulation studies needed to better refine our understanding of these challenges.
* Level-1 trigger performance requirements generated from having to meet these challenges.
* Technology development needed in an R&D program to achieve the performance requirements.
* Effectiveness of different types of tracking trigger information in combination with calorimeter triggers.
